WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?

KUMO Antwerp, based in Berchem, Antwerp, Belgium, is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through @kumoantwerp on Instagram.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you place an order, we collect your name, Instagram handle, selected products, quantities, pick-up date and time, optional notes, payment status and Stripe transaction references. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information in the notes field.

We do not ask for your email address for noodle orders and we do not receive or store your full card or Bancontact details.

WHY WE USE IT

• To process payment and prepare, confirm and hand over your order.
• To communicate about your order through Instagram.
• To prevent fraud, secure the website and resolve payment or order issues.
• To meet accounting and other legal obligations.
• With your consent, to measure visits and improve KUMO advertising through Meta.

These uses rely on performance of your order, legal obligations, legitimate interests in security and service operation, and consent for optional Meta tracking.

WHO RECEIVES DATA?

We only share data where needed with service providers that help operate KUMO: Stripe for payment, our website hosting provider for secure delivery, FormSubmit for paid-order notifications, and Meta/Instagram for communication and—only after consent—advertising measurement. These providers process data under their own terms and may process it outside the European Economic Area using applicable safeguards.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP IT?

Order and payment information is kept only as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle questions and meet accounting or other legal requirements. Reminder requests are used for the relevant drop and are not kept longer than necessary. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

The website stores your cookie choice in your browser so the banner does not reappear on every visit. This is necessary to remember your preference.

Meta Pixel is optional and loads only after you select “Accept”. It can measure page visits, checkout starts and completed purchases. Selecting “Reject” does not affect ordering or payment. Stripe may use cookies that are necessary for its secure hosted checkout.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact @kumoantwerp to exercise these rights. You may also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority at dataprotectionauthority.be.
